Transportation at Findlay City Schools

Welcome to the Transportation Department of Findlay City Schools! We are proud to provide safe, reliable transportation that supports student learning across the district!

Our Mission

To ensure the safe and efficient transportation of all eligible students, while fostering a positive, respectful, and supportive environment on every bus and in every interaction.

Transportation Eligibility

Ohio law requires boards of education to provide transportation for pupils in kindergarten through eighth grade who live more than two miles from their assigned school. However, Findlay City Schools has chosen to extend transportation services beyond the state requirement.

For the 2026-2027 school year, transportation will be provided based on the following guidelines:

  • Grades K-5: Transportation will be provided for students living outside a 1-mile radius of their school of residence.
  • Grades 6-12: Transportation will be provided for students living outside a 2-mile radius of their school of residence.

Students receiving transportation services due to an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan will always receive those required services.
